GEOTECHNICAL WATER DRILLING DRILLING MEASUREMENTS SPECIAL FOUNDATIONS
SOLSCOPE EN IMAGE
The 12th edition of Solscope closed its doors on June 15, 2017 after registering 2,588 participants for two days, of which 1,253 were identified (+ 30%). These figures, up from the last edition, are particularly satisfactory for the drilling and foundation sectors thanks to the dynamics induced by the work of Greater Paris.
According to the testimonies of participants: "This event has become as unavoidable as necessary to the profession".
SOLSCOPE was created in 1992, and has since been organized every two years (odd years from 1999).
Since its inception, the event has included a two-day symposium and an exhibition. Participation in the symposium requires a registration fee, the exhibition is open to the public and some workshops are freely accessible.
Since its inception, SOLSCOPE's attendance has increased steadily, the number of exhibitors has increased sixfold and in its latest edition in 2015, the exhibition has expanded to 5,000m² with 120 exhibitors and more than 1 200 visitors.
Over the years, SOLSCOPE has continued and enhanced its role as a forum for exchanges between all geotechnical partners. Contractors, consultants, researchers, drillers, inspectors, contractors, insurers, experts, lawyers, manufacturers and distributors of equipment ... find in SOLSCOPE a gathering and open event so that the various players in the fields concerned better understand each other, everyone depending on all others when performing its mission.
The twelfth edition of SOLSCOPE will be held on 14th and 15th of june 2017 in Lyon at the EUREXPO park.
A new symposium format with four thematic half-days will be proposed.
Wednesday 14 June
- Geotechnics and the future
-Geotechnics and Security
Thursday 15 June
- Geotechnics and digital transition
- Geotechnics and Hydrogeology
The indoor and outdoor exhibition areas will be further extended and will open up to activities not yet represented.
Given the biannual frequency of SOLSCOPE, it seemed useful to create a link between each event and the edition of a magazine for the attention of SOLSCOPE public has established itself as this concrete link with the N ° 01 publication in June 2014.
The SOLSCOPE magazine also fills a gap and offers targeted support for professionals in the sector, alongside more general magazines.
SOLSCOPE MAG is aimed at participants and visitors, but also to all those involved in geotechnical engineering, drilling and foundations who will eventually discover the next event.
SOLSCOPE MAG is also available online.
